We have been searching for a new RV on and off for the last 12 months. Our old motor home 'Sharky' was hurting for the last two years and after 20 years it was time for a change for us. As many potential customers of a new RV we searched the deals on Ebay and the local papers. We did have success on Ebay and found the unit type we liked. Unfortunately the units were in Florida or California. Neither fit our wallet or location.

We were still very cautious since we never had purchased a vehicle over a long distance, site unseen and on top outside of Canada. "We were searching for a late-model Pleasureway travel van, with no success negotiating with dealers in the Northwest. We found a nice rig in an internet ad by Midway RV Center, and reluctantly called Kyle Walcott at Midway. We had been looking for a new Palomino Columbus 320RS through the internet and found that there was a substantial difference in the US prices compared to Canadian prices.
