Is there RV Camping by the sea in Cape Hatteras?

Hello,
I plan to travel to Cape Hatteras and I need a good RV campground close to a beach. I don't have another vehicle, and the RV is a 32ft rig, so I need to be close enough to the beach to ride bikes (don't want to unhook the RV each day.)

My wife and I took our rv to the Outer Banks in January 2008. Had a great time, the weather was cool (50's), but still better than Michigan's! We stayed at Camp Hatteras, in Waves, NC. (about 20 miles from the actual Hatteras Lighthouse) It's right on the ocean, and you can walk to the beach or cross Hwy 12 and walk to the intercoastal. Very nice, not many trees for shade, but clean and the people were friendly. check out mapquest.com then search for campgrounds never either Cape Hatteras or Waves, NC Have fun!!
